Trina Cleveland the author of the best-selling book “The Pink Elephant in the Middle of the Getto”, “The Pink Elephant in the Middle of the Getto INSTITUTIONAL VERSION, and The Pink Elephant in the Middle of the Getto WORKBOOK" and also writes a collection of Urban Fiction.
As the President and Founder of our nonprofit which was formed October of 2013, she is dedicated, resourceful, and determined to advocate for parents with mental and emotional challenges and created the nonprofit as a corollary achievement of her book which reminds parents that before making a decision that will alter the life of your child...."Remember to ThinkPink!"
She is a full time student working towards her degree in Forensic Social Work with certifications in Grant Writing and Nonprofit Management and is also an entrepreneur with two publishing houses, Remember To ThinkPink Publications and PaperChase Publicationz . She is the co-founder of Sisterhood of Writers and Authors of Texas (SWAT) and has recently added the title Playwright and Songwriter to her name as The Opening Premiere of The Pink Elephant Stage Play debuted in Harker Heights, Texas resulting in a packed house, rave reviews, and requests for encore performances.
She has been featured in several newspaper articles, radio talk shows, and is the Spoken Word Slam Champ of the 2014 National Black Book Festival and held the title of Slam Champ for 4 consecutive wins under KD Music Group in Killeen,TX.
